"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your organization for the outstanding service performed and the professionalism exhibited while installing the home automation and audio visual system at the home we worked on together. I have always been hesitant to engage our company in the process of providing automation and audio systems for our homeowners. My past experience has been that contractors in this line of service tend to hold their knowledge, bid inclusions and equipment capabilities in a fog of secrecy when presenting and installing a package to a client. This was not the case with AST Integration.
From the first meeting, you included your installation and technical teams as part of the process so that when questions were asked, thorough and concise answers were always given. Your proposals always included complete clarity as to quantities and types of products that you were proposing to install.
During the installation process, there were a few unforeseen circumstances that needed to be overcome, which was certainly expected with the level and size of the project. Whenever such circumstances presented themselves, your team was there to offer practical solutions or recommendations, keeping within the budget. There were a couple of items that were overlooked in your itemized proposal that were discussed and requested by our client. Even though these items were not in the materials count of your proposal, you installed them at no additional charge because they were discussed in prior meetings. This is a true representation of your firm’s honesty and integrity.
In my thirty-five years in the home building business, when a client insisted on an audio visual or home automation system, I always placed the burden back on them to find and hire directly the contractor they wanted to work with. By doing so, the responsibility of a weekend, holiday or special occasion system malfunction would not fall on my shoulders; instead it would be with the client and contractor, because I knew it would inevitably happen on one or more such occasions.
My position and attitude has now changed since using AST Integration, Inc. I now feel assured that there is a contractor who will provide an honest, competitive and complete proposal with an attitude from all staff that the end goal is to satisfy the homeowner beyond his initial expectations at a cost that was agreed upon at the beginning. AST Integration will be the only audio visual home automation contractor that I will use in the future."
